Excellent capture of this red-headed woodpecker, HJ, and on his red mountain. This woodpecker is commonly found in the eastern half of the country, yet out here in Calif. we don’t have this bird. So I am always delighted to see photos of this gorgeous bird — thank you!
This bird is so beautiful, it’s incredible. The very first time I saw it I was in awe! It looked so unreal, more like a colorful toy! Thank you for your visit, my friend. 🙂
