Short Shoot

This morning (Wednesday) was warm and sunny, round 11:00 am  I went shopping, while driving I felt hot in the car and turned turn on the AC, that’s how warm it was. After I did my shopping drove back home and decided to shoot some pictures just in case that might rain later. It didn’t take long for the sky to turn gray and dark, got some drizzle but still continued overcast, the air feels warm and humid now.

So it was good that I could shoot some photos, the lighting was very favorable for good shots. I’ve been working hard again organizing and backing up my photos. I have to keep doing it as a habit to protect my photo archives and avoid losing them.

  1. To my absolute DELIGHT, I was able to recognise four of the six, and knew the the first is a sparrow but got its description wrong. For me this is wonderful ! It’s not as if I’m ever going to lay eyes on any of them; but it does mean that I’m not anywhere in the vicinity of Alzheimer’s !!! 😀

    • Please don’t even say that M-R! You’re one person with a sharp mind that could cut diamonds (Not that I have any, I do not like diamonds). 🙂

      • I have 3 teeny-weeny chips in a ring. It was my maternal grandmother’s, sent to me by my mama; and as neither Stringer nor I ever wanted to spend money on jewellery, it made a lovely wedding ring. 🙂

      • I don’t like jewelry either. I think that’s a waste of money for pure unadulterated vanity! 🙂

      • Yes, which is why we got married in the Registry Office, with four people to our ‘wedding breakfast’ at home. We would far rather have a dishwasher or a ‘frig ! 🙂

    • I, as a photographer of birds have to make choices of what compositions are the most natural for the subject. I don’t like them to be like statues, as an artist I must show elasticity, natural movement even when they are 2 dimensional images :).

      • Going through my photos, I just got them onto the computer today. But migration kept me out half the day, so it will take me a while (the photographer’s lament). Hope to post something tonight or tomorrow. We had a burst of warmth today too and it looks like later in the week we’ll be readjusting thermostats. 🙂
