Early Morning Shooting
Once in a while, especially when is not raining, I shoot some pictures early in the morning, at a time when the sun is still partly blocked by the trees that I have in my backyard. Thus having the light restricted creates a dark background then you’re presented to a whole set of challenges to achieve shooting good pictures.
Having a dark background accentuates the incident light that surrounds the subject. It gets a bit tricky to get good light readings and avoid lens flares.
I recommend giving it a try and see what you get.

this is one of your best collections of photos yet! Getting that early morning light really makes a difference.
Thank you very much! I’m glad that you like it. 🙂
I wish I had a collection of birds that would visit my backyard. What is your secret?
It has to do with having trees and bushes in your backyard, then add some bird feeders with a multi-bird seeds and the birds will do the rest. It takes only one bird to eat and the news will spread quickly. It’s logic, if you have a place where they feed you daily then why go anywhere else? Good luck! Thank you Mary! 🙂
I have trees and bushes in my backyard and once had a bird feeder but, the squirrels invaded it. Maybe I’ll give it another try.
Beautiful Photography
Thanks a lot! 🙂
