Early Morning Shooting

Once in a while, especially when is not raining, I shoot some pictures early in the morning, at a time when the sun is still partly blocked by the trees that I have in my backyard. Thus having the light restricted creates a dark background then you’re presented to a whole set of challenges to achieve shooting good pictures.

Having a dark background accentuates the incident light that surrounds the subject. It gets a bit tricky to get good light readings and avoid lens flares.

I recommend giving it a try and see what you get.

    • It has to do with having trees and bushes in your backyard, then add some bird feeders with a multi-bird seeds and the birds will do the rest. It takes only one bird to eat and the news will spread quickly. It’s logic, if you have a place where they feed you daily then why go anywhere else? Good luck! Thank you Mary! 🙂
