Carolina Wren
After quite a while a Carolina Wren showed up in my backyard! I was happy to see this bird again even if it was for only a few minutes. Despite the short time I had the opportunity to shoot some photos.
Unfortunately at that moment the feeding area was too busy with other birds and the wren felt intimidated and left in a hurry. Perhaps he might decide to return later, for one, it would please me greatly to be able to shoot more pictures and observe his behavior.

Great photos. These birds are really pretty. Love the detail in their feathers.
Thank you very much! 🙂
I am still not sure about the names of the birds I photograph but I believe this may the one I photographed and posted yesterday. I also saw a yellow and bird at a park in Georgia but I unfortunately did not take my camera. It was beautiful.
I don’t recall seeing it on your site but I am sure you would know its name because you are the aficionado on birds! Hopefully I will see it again.
I believe that the bird photographed and posted by you yesterday is the Brown Thrasher, by the way that’s the State Bird of Georgia.

I knew you would know!! Thanks H.J.!!
Lucky you to have a Carolina Wren in Your Yard! I heard one at the Portage on Sunday, probably the same one I’ve heard all spring/summer, but I haven’t seen it since it got down to nesting business. Great shots!
Lisa, birds are like my problems, I don’t look for them… They look for me! 🙂 Thanks!
LOL! 🙂
