Carolina Wren

After quite a while a Carolina Wren showed up in my backyard! I was happy to see this bird again even if it was for only a few minutes. Despite the short time I had the opportunity to shoot some photos.

Unfortunately  at that moment the feeding area was too busy with other birds and the wren felt intimidated and left in a hurry. Perhaps he might decide to return later, for one, it would please me greatly to be able to shoot more pictures and observe his behavior.

  1. I am still not sure about the names of the birds I photograph but I believe this may the one I photographed and posted yesterday. I also saw a yellow and bird at a park in Georgia but I unfortunately did not take my camera. It was beautiful.

I don’t recall seeing it on your site but I am sure you would know its name because you are the aficionado on birds! Hopefully I will see it again.

  2. Lucky you to have a Carolina Wren in Your Yard! I heard one at the Portage on Sunday, probably the same one I’ve heard all spring/summer, but I haven’t seen it since it got down to nesting business. Great shots!
