Snow bound
Last night we had a snow storm that covered our County, we usually don’t get snow in this area of Georgia. This morning I saw a bunch of birds walking around the feeders which were empty of seeds but covered with snow and ice. No bird could eat because the snow was covered with a thin layer of ice and the birds could only walk but unable to dig the ground. Ice was also blocking the holes where the seeds drop to the trays of the feeders. You should see thatat soon as I filled the feeders with seeds and cleaned them, a bunch of birds coming from all directions came to eat, it was a feast! 🙂
I shot some pictures, here they are:
- Snow covering the ground.
- Mourning Dove
- Song Sparrow
- Norther Cardinal (F)
