Now is a good time to go through my photo files, I’m looking at thousands of photos, many albums, boxes and boxes,CDs, etc.I do this every year in order to relive the many moments I spent through out my life. The camera has been always like and extra limb where ever I went not exclusively for my work.
I’m bringing 4 samples related to birds just by coincidence because I wasn’t a birder then.I will add a little bit of description for each shot. No exif. (Not digital)

Today’s video was shot with my Canon 60D in High Falls, Georgia. I painfully try to edit it with a rudimentary editor which I’ll have to use ‘till I find something better. I’m sure that my friend photographer Bob Zeller will have a kick and possibly enjoy the background music.
Despite the shortcomings I can see in this video the potential to generate a good video… Someday :).
I’m going through my photo files from the past seasons and made a selection of them which were not published. We are at the slow time of the year for birds for this area. It’s time for picking good shots from the past seasons. I have thousands of photos that never made it to be published. I’ll try to get more variety until next month that I’ll be going shooting to Florida.
The following samples were shot with a Canon SX30 camera:

The photos that I’m posting today were shot during my visit to the city of Augusta looking for a hotspot for birds. Not very far from the but a few miles from the urban area I found the Phinizy wildlife preserve built in a large area of wetlands (Swamps).
The day I was there it wasn’t very good for birds, however I still have the filling that with such great habitat sometime during the year must have a great deal of migrant birds. I just have to find out the months of the year that qualify as best time to visit and find more birds.
Here are some photos of my visit to Phinizy:
