1 – The Huascaran twin peaks are in Ancash. The southern summit of Huascarán (Huascarán Sur), which reaches 6,768 meters (22,205 ft), is the highest point in Peru.
2 – This large group of American White Ibis are congregating in Florida, part of their migration.
3 – The LLanganuco Lake is up on the foot of the Huascaran mountains near the town of Yungay. The waters are turquoise color and is cold, melted from the glaciers and snowy mountains.
4 – This photo was taken at the end of a storm, when suddenly a rainbow illuminated the sky, somewhere on the way to Wyoming.
