I like the blooming shrubs beside the birds as well. Seems like the Mallard is mixing it up a bit. My favourite photo is the Great Blue Heron. Have a good day with many birding opportunities.
I enjoyed all these photos of the water birds, H.J. I had to look up the Pekin Duck (interesting) and I especially liked your photo of the spectacular wood ducks–the male so colorful and stately and the female looking right at you. Great fun, thank you.

You caught on that comment, didn’t you? 🙂
Take care…
Thanks for sharing your photographs.
Thank you very much, Susan. 🙂

Thanks for your visit and your comments. It’s always a pleasure to hear from you, Jet. 🙂
A lovely selection of waterbirds HJ
The waterbirds are the first birds that migrate South, and most of the waterbirds stay in Florida. Thank you, my friend. 🙂
A very nice collection of water-loving birds, H.J!
Thanks a lot, D. 🙂
As always very nice work. It looks like that double breasted Cormorant has all his feathers ruffled like he’s retuning from battle 😀
Actually he was ready to perch on a tree where another cormorant is, maybe he is going to battle! Or perhaps is the wife? 🙂 Thank you, Andy.
