Sandhill Crane
NOTE: This shot was taken at 8:30 this morning, the pair of Sandhill Cranes were walking and feeding among the houses 1 block from my house.

Cranes are wonderful, almost stately, birds.

Here in South Africa our three kinds of indigenous cranes never venture into suburbia, so it is really interesting to me that these Sandhill Cranes roamed among the houses in your neighbourhood!
