You’ve reminded me of Sidney Lanier’s poem “The Song of the Chattahoochee.” Lanier was born in Georgia, so he knew the place!
There’s a Lake Lanier, very large and beautiful also. The mountain named Blood, is called Red Mountain now, because in Autumn the foliage turns mostly red. Thank you very much, Linda. 🙂
Loved the pictures. Not Mother’s Day in the UK, we have it before Easter.
Thanks so much, Susan. 🙂
Wonderful shots, HJ, I esp. love your photo of Vogel SP, such a beautiful place to sit and enjoy nature. 🙂
Vogel SP has a fantastic lake and picturesque falls too. Nice place to visit. Thanks, Donna. 🙂
That bench overlooking the misty lake really has me inspired, thanks H.J!
Thank you, D. 🙂
