Photography of Birds – Set # 36
Set # 36 (Local Birds)
The weather is not as cold as it was last week, we had some rain and thunder storms but nothing really intense to talk about. We also had excellent sunny days to compensate. The local birds are out there under the sun, more active than ever. Their appetites have increased, since they are spending more energy flying around. They look happy now!
That bluejay in the pine is an especially nice photo. I’ve not seen my bluejay babies yet, but it’s clear that I have some parents coming to the feeders — nothing else would explain their snatching up of as many shelled peanuts as they can carry, and then flying off! Multiply that behavior by hundreds of times, and it’s pretty clear there are babies!
That is a very persuasive assumption, my investigative friend Linda. I have to agree. I hope that you get to see the fledglings too. Thanks! π
Oh your Blue Jay capture is gorgeous, HJ! β€
Thank you so much, Donna. π
Wonderful to see all your avian friends out and about today, HJ. Lovely photos.
Thank you very much, Jet. π
Luv your birds β€οΈοΈ I used to put out expensive unsalted peanuts for the Jays & Cards but the booger squirrels would shimmy down the cord and snatch them π¦ I guess they donβt know the meat cooler at the store is near empty during this epidemic βοΈ
π Thank you, Washe.
Very lovely birds and excellent shots!
Thanks a lot, Indira. π
Wonderful blue jay image, HJ, so striking!
Thanks so much, Chris. π
They’re happier and they’re spreading that joy all over the world thanks to your great photos, H.J!
You are really generous in this one. Thank you, my friend. Take care. π
