Peruvian Booby
The Peruvian Booby is an endemic bird of Peru. The Peruvian booby is confined to the waters of the Humboldt current, off the coast of South America. They can be found off the shores of Peru, south to the middle part of Chile. Their abundance on the islands of Lobos de Tierra and Lobos de Afuera have resulted in a great deal of research being done on the species from these locations.
Rufous-collared Sparrow
This little bird is tame and approachable, as much as handsome and active. At first, I couldn’t believe it was a sparrow, since they are usually dull looking.
I like the sparrow.
Thank you, Susan. π
That would be neat to spot a Booby flying above me, with those features. Lovely little sparrow.
Thank you, Jane. π
Beautiful flight shot of the Booby and what a gorgeous sparrow! Well done, HJ!! π
Thank you so much, Donna. π
