Photography of Birds – Set # 4
Set # 4
What an interesting group of Black Skimmers, waiting for their turn to go fishing, they usually do not fish all together, only in small groups.
This oystercatcher was incubating at the moment, she had laid 2 eggs and the male was preventing the photographer to get closer. I used a long lens for this shot.
I really like the contrast between the long shot of the large group of Skimmers and the close-up of the Oystercatcher! Wonderful photos.
I have to balance the photo content, to keep from boring readers. Thanks for your visit, Carol. π
Canβt imagine being bored by any of your posts!! π€

Thank you very much, Ashley. I appreciate it. π
Beautiful shots, H.J! Especially interesting is the oystercatcher on her nest.
Thank you, D, Yes, she was incubating. The male was trying to distract me away from their nest. π
Great shots, HJ!
Thanks, Clare. π
Great done. But a little bit difficult to capture this image.
The Black Skimmers are amazing. So many in one place. I would love to see one. π
They are! They are expert fliers. Thank you, Lisa. π
