Red Gallery – Northern Cardinal
Northern Cardinals eat a variety of insects, as well as beetles, worms, caterpillars and other insects found in gardens.
They also eat wild fruits, seeds of several kinds, but their favorite are the sunflower seeds.
When they live in urban areas, they rely in eating, suets, mixed seeds, fruits and some nuts.

Great shots. When I visited Ontario, Canada last June I heard them all the time but they were in the full trees and I only caught a glimpse-maybe next time.
