What’s Up? – Need More Like That!
Need More Like That!
Last week wasn’t that bad weather wise, despite the cold mornings, we had warmer afternoons, sunny and blue sky. It gave me more opportunities to shoot some pictures.
A good variety of birds visited my feeders and left me very satisfied, here’s a list of visitors:
- Northern Cardinal
- Blue Jay
- Song Sparrow
- Red-breasted Nuthatch
- Brown-headed Nuthatch
- Red-winged Blackbird
- Mourning Dove
- Northern Mockingbird
- Pine Warbler
- Brown-headed Cowbird
- House Finch
- Carolina Chickadee
- Carolina Wren
- Tufted Titmouse
- Cooper’s Hawk
As you can see, I had a very good reason to be satisfied with an excellent week, when weather improves and birds show up in my backyard. By the way, talking about showing up…even “Nutcase” the squirrel was there, very hungry as always!

Lovely photos and what beautiful visitors! 🙂
Happy Christmas to you!

What an amazing yard list of “regulars.” We struggle to see half of them in migration and then there are still those I have never seen. Thanks for the beautiful pictures! Merry Christmas!
