In fact, they are both pacific birds, they chase each other but for other reasons (wink, wink). They are not antagonistic that I’ve noticed in over 11 years they nest in my backyard. They are both beautiful birds. I should mention that Mother Nature made the male birds better looking than females. She must have a good reason! Thanks K.! 🙂

I love the less- colorful ones – I assume they are females? They look rough and ready for anything. The guys look like such pretty boys!

It was that way in our home, too. My husband is better looking than I am! 🙀
