What’s Up? Little River Canyon
Little River Canyon National Preserve
I took a visit to this lovely place in Alabama with my family last Saturday. We wanted to see the colorful foliage before the leaves fall. It was a cool day, rainy and gray but that would not deter us from our commitment to go. I have some information about the Preserve and a photo gallery, samples of what we saw.

I told you it was a lovely place in Alabama! Thank you for your generous comment Arbie. 🙂
Your forests are so different than ours! It’s amazing what a couple of thousand miles do for a change in scenery! Beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
Our world has so many natural differences based on geographic areas. These differences are remarkable like day and night. Once in a while I visit places and I like to share the beauty with my friends. Thank you K. 🙂
What an interesting place, so colourful in the autumn.
USA has many places that are very famous because the colorful Autumn foliage. Thank you Susan. 🙂
Beautiful pictures. I will have to adjust my mental image of what Alabama looks like.
This is only a Preserve with attractive natural attributes. Alabama is not a small State. Thank you Tom. 🙂
What a lovely fall you are having. I hiked a state park near my home here in Colorado this afternoon. The leaves are all gone. So sad. Enjoy while you can!
Let’s remember that Colorado is further North in the USA and you get a more wintery weather than us in the South.I’m in Georgia and we hardly got half of the leave turned colors. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Gorgeous, colorful captures, HJ! 🙂
