What’s Up?…
Hurricane Woes…
This past week has been tough for States Texas and Louisiana. The hurricane Harvey with tremendous force and size has caused great damage and hardship to millions of homes because of floods, strong winds etc. G-d help them recover from this devastating natural disaster.
Here in Georgia, we had some consequences of the hurricane Harvey despite being at considerable distance from it. The humidity was very high, so it was the temperature making days uncomfortable… then the weather changed to rain, we had a few days of rain but not enough to cause any kind of flood. I’m glad for that.
Birds are still around, however, must not be very happy for reasons of the continuos rains. Raining makes their seeds soggy and sometimes wasting the whole batch because the wind knocks off the feeder breaking the dishes which are made of baked clay. II keep buying new ones all the time.
My wife is out of town for a five days (Not related to the hurricane) and I’m in charge of Tyler, making sure he goes to School, does the homework, takes showers, and behave like a good boy.
He’s a good boy generally. Can’t complain about that!

Even up here in NJ we felt the after effects of Hurricane Harvey this past Sunday, a little rain, demonstrative circulation clouds passing eastward to the south… Nice images, as always. Good luck with Tyler. We also have a Tyler, grandson, 9 going on 15! M 🙂
It definitely was a vast hurricane, it dumped so much water on poor Texas and Louisiana. Thank you for sharing M. Say hello to Tyler for me. My Tyler is 7 going on 14! 🙂
Glad you and Tyler are getting along OK.
Oh yes! We always have fun. Thank you Susan. 🙂
Well done dad!😊
Thank you Ashley! I enjoy his company. 🙂
Enjoy your time with Tyler! Nice gallery of bird shots! Bad weather is making feeding the birds quite expensive!
Oh yes I always do! My birds are well taken care. I like it. 🙂
I know you do! 🙂
Sounds like you have your hands full. Best to you and Tyler.
That’s fine, my wife is back home from her trip! Tyler’s very good company and we had fun. We ate food from restaurants and delicious ice-cream and fruits for dessert, etc. Should I say more? We had fun! Thanks Cynthia. 🙂
Great captures, HJ! Nice school starts again, brings on routine! LOL My grandson (6) started first grade yesterday, he told me about it last night on the phone for 42 minutes! A record for me/him on the phone. 🙂 Obviously, he was excited. Did Tyler start this week as well or before Labor Day as a lot of children did?
Tyler (7), started August 1st – second grade. He loves school very much. I wait for the school bus with him at 7 am when we have our most interesting conversations. Ex. Tyler look! The moon is showing her face… ~ Dad, that’s a moon crescent. Thank you for sharing Donna. 🙂
