What’s Up?
There are an increased amount of birds coming to the feeders due two fairer weather, not drastically cold but so-so. The variety grows too, the blackbirds are in town already. The following list will give you an idea what species of birds I see in my backyard almost daily.
- Blue Jay
- Carolina Chickadee
- Carolina Wren
- Tufted Titmouse
- Brown-headed Cowbird
- Brown-headed Nuthatch
- White-breasted Nuthatch
- Northern Cardinal
- House Finch
- American Goldfinch
- Mourning Dove
- Cooper’s Hawk
- Northern Mockingbird
- Field Sparrow
- Song Sparrow
- American Crow
- European Starling
- American Robin
- Northern Towhee
As you can see, birds are being fed and soon air traffic will be heavy in my backyard! More species will show up, I’ll keep you informed.
