I really like this series, HJ of the gorgeous blue jay. The jays, as you no doubt know, bury their treasures; and numerous times I have watched jays thinking, much like you captured here, and then retrieving their buried treasure. It’s one of the many beauties of jays.
Most birds have distinctive methods to handle their meals or simply storing them for a later day. Either way, it’s quite interesting. Thank you my friend! 🙂
Now that is one glorious bird…as in morning glory blue! I had a few visit my feeder’s early this A.M. You really caught them beautifully in your photograph.
