Here and There
You can see obvious signs of Autumn in my backyard. There are trees with spotted areas of leaves turning colors and some others are fading into a lighter hue of green. Our weather temperature still remains warm and very humid.
The avian activity in my backyard has diminished slightly, I see groups of birds stopping by, feeding and then leaving. The local birds are very active as always. A couple of days ago I saw a skein of geese over my backyard, that’s another good sign of the end of summer.

Wonderful activity in your backyard, H.J. Do the hummingbirds leave for the winter or do they stay?
They do leave, but I understand it’s for their own sake. Winter sometimes get to be harsh and would be perilous for them. They thrive in the warm weather. Thanks Tiny! 🙂
