2. Wonderful photo of the chipping sparrow, HJ. Often sparrows’ feet are hidden in the grass, which is one of the many things that make this a special photo — getting to see his pink feet gripping the post.

   • My birds after a short while, apparently feel safer to be in the open, that is my cue to shoot my pictures. One important rule for me is never to interrupt or intimidate birds with my presence. I simply do not engage in meeting their eyes with mine. The camera, they do not care but your gaze or stare make them unease. Thank you Jet! 🙂
