Say Hello to my Little Friend!
One of the birds that usually skips migration and stays in my backyard is the Brown-headed Nuthatch. I like that little bird because is a strong and independent creature, getting down to business at all times which is flying to the feeder and try to get one sunflower seed and then fly back to his safe area and eat it, he will not eat any seeds or try to open them while heβs not in his safe area.
It might require more energy but itβs a precautionary method to be a survivor.
I love to see them climbing trees or branches upside down with ease and great skill.
