What an unusual stance for an Egret, and you always manage to get such good focus on these moving birds! I see birds, but I’m sure they won’t stay still for me to snap them onto film! 🙂
Oh wow! terrific photo, very unusual angle! I’ll try not to leave it so long to visit again. It hasn’t taken long for some of my local birds to cotton on to the water and seed on my front brick fence – right outside my loungeroom window. Loved all your photos and the extra information you include about your Avians. 😀
Snowy Egret.
Thank you! The answer will be published tomorrow. 🙂
I assume a wading bird of some sort.

Snowy Egret as it has a black bill and yellowish feet.

Thank you for sharing Barbara! 🙂
I thought it was a Little Egret 🙂
The little egret has black legs and yellow feet, the Snowy Egret has yellow on legs and feet. Thanks! 🙂
Looks like an Egret to me, but not 100% sure! 🙂
It’s a Snowy Egret! Ta- Da! 🙂
Thanks, HJ! 🙂
