The Decision’s Made

The next time we see each other will be fun to reminisce

about the good days we spent at your place.

I remember that you prepared great meals for me because

my health was undermined by hunger and neglect.

I remember that you offered me the opportunity to recover

not only physically but you also helped me recover my self-esteem

torn to pieces from rejection and separation from my family.

I remember your happy face when I saw you every day, and how

much I treasured your company. How could I ever forget those

wonderful moments for they are engraved in my mind forever.

But I also had the yearn for being with my family despite

whatever might had happened in the past.

Well, that moment for the big decision has arrived and I must

make up my mind.

If you don’t see me again to meet you is because I have decided

to resume my life in company of my family, now I’m still young, I

should be with them and resolve any issues that we may have to

compromise.

I promise you to return one day when I’m older and more experienced so we can meet again.

I will never forget you…
