Did you ever read “Alice through the Looking-glass”, HJ ? Geese always make me think of her tucking a flamingo under her arm: because that’s what I would love to be able to do with one of these (and also pelicans) ! [grin] Can you imagine???
Oh,but I think it would be WONDERFUL ! I have this image of them loving to be cuddled …
Those two birds are large girth and tall birds. I couldn’t put them under my arms myself! Unless you ate the magic mushrooms and grew like Alice! 🙂
If I were thinking of playing croquet, I would certainly LOOK FOR some. 😉
Yes, me too! 🙂
H.J, you make even Canadian geese look lovely!! (They are quite a nuisance here in the north.) I love how when I clicked on the photo it is so clear and crisp!
When I lived in New Jersey I use to not like them because they crapped all over the Golf Courses, I don’t play golf now and I live in Georgia. They don’t bother me anymore. Thanks Amy! 🙂
Haha. 😀 In the little town where our cabin is located in northern Michigan there is a township park and someone tacked up a sign that read “goose poop park” because the ground throughout the park is literally solid with goose poop.
I also wanted to mention how the water in this photo is so life-like, almost like I could reach in and touch it. 🙂
Please don’t touch it because you’ll scratch you PC screen! 🙂
I love to see them flying in their “V” formation and to hear them honk! Sadly it is a signal that winter is near !
Good shot of the Canada geese!
Thank you Clare! 🙂
Loved the geese picture.
Thanks Susan! 🙂
Wonderful photo! I can’t get over how blue the water is. Pretty geese too 😀 x
The water is blue because the reflection of the blue sky. Thanks Becky! 🙂
It must have been a beautiful day 🙂 x
