Nice Day!

Last Friday was a beautiful and bright day, I was outside in my backyard doing a few things and then in two occasions shot some pictures of birds. It feels so good to be embraced by the sun’s warmth. I heard the birds singing a bit happier (?) I know it’s just me, but it’s good to daydream sometimes.

I was doing some trimming of shrubs surrounding the deck and by being so close to the plants I went unnoticed by some birds and they just flew over my head and went for some seeds. Soon after they realized my presence, got surprised and took off rather quickly. I thought it was funny.

Yesterday I went to Home Depot and bought some working gloves and a new branch-trimmer saw. I’m starting to get all my tools ready for my first outside work. Most likely you’re doing something similar at this time.

So glad spring is arriving in your area and you can enjoy some time outdoors! We here in the north are getting a tiny dose of sun and warmer temps but tomorrow our high will only be in the low 30’s again and that’s supposed to last for at least three days. Thankfully the ten day forecast is for us to finally see some seasonable temperatures! Enjoy!

  You’re right Amy, I’m enjoying the warmer air with more appreciation, yesterday I worked in my yard for hours trimming tree branches and mowing the grass. It felt good to get some exercise! Thanks for sharing Amy! 🙂

    My husband keeps saying he can’t wait for the ground to dry out so he can “go outside and play”. 🙂 He is itching to start yard work, too, so I can imagine how good you feel being able to start setting your yard in order for the spring/summer.
