It’s Good to be the King

After some more rain it cleared out and we had a respite from dampness and humidity. I went shopping for a part that broke in one of the toilet’s tanks and I fixed it rather quickly. I had time to get my camera ready and shoot some pictures, some of which I’m showing you on this post.

My son Tyler will be 4 years old in May, he attends PreSchool yet. It happens that he’s been chosen to be the king at the Pre-School and his little friend Sophia the queen. How do you like that?

We’re happy for him, he’s very popular among his friends and teachers.

The other day I was going shopping, took a back road and I saw on the side of the road 2 large dark birds, at first I thought they were wild turkeys which are abundant in our wood areas. When I drove near them the took flight, then I noticed they were 2 Black Vultures! Most likely disposing of a roadkill.

  1. Love that collage of the wee birds! We have vultures in our area. There is a tree down the road that they love to collect on. Some mornings it is quite a sight to see them all perched there! I wish you blog had a ‘Like’ button! When I read your work directly on your webpage I can’t do that. Yet now I am using Symbaloo to browse my favourite blogs instead of WordPress Reader I miss being able to tell you I enjoy stopping by each day.

      • The Like button is there but sometimes you need to wait a bit longer to upload or you press reload. It happens to everybody. Thank you for sharing and for being so nice to your pets. I enjoy your blog too! 🙂
