Happy Valentine Day!

After so much ado we ended up having about 3 inches of snow on top of the 1 inch sheet of ice.

The snowing ended before noon and the sun gloriously opened up the sky and soon enough the snow and ice began to thaw rapidly. By noon I was out food shopping. The store was already half empty of groceries, people had bought extra and they had not replenished the shelves for lack of supplies deliveries. It’s sunny now, the snow is almost gone.

We are planning to go out later since is Valentine Day!

Happy Valentine Day to all my female followers!

  1. Happy that you and your family remained safe during the storm. From what I read on the news it sounds like things could have been far worse. They were expecting close to a million folks down south losing power during the storm and I think that was not the case right?

    • Yes MD! Luckily we never lost any power and after the snow we had an splendid bright sunny day that melted snow and ice! About time! πŸ™‚
