Bon Appetit!
Believe or not the consumption of bird seeds I provide has increased considerably, because the weather temperature factor, having dropped lower yet, that creates a more difficult situation for birds to find food.
Most insects are gone, so are flowers and fruits, grubs or worms are deeper in the soil and the ground surface is cold and hard. Birds have less opportunities to get their food.
All these factors are taken in consideration by the birds and they come to my feeders more often and in larger quantities than previous Winters.
Good thing that I’m well provisioned with seeds enough for the month of January.
I love to see birds sharing their seeds and braving the weather inclemency!
Bon Appetit!

Beautiful friends!
Yes they are! Thank you Carmen! 🙂
Clever pictures.
Thank you very much Susan! 🙂
Your weather doesn’t look too inclement to me, but then everything’s relative. Great pictures. Love the Titmouse. 🙂
Thanks you Lisa! 🙂
Nice to see them all getting along! 🙂 Nice shots HJ!
They better because there are not many alternatives. Thank you Donna! 🙂
Here in Michigan we have had 2 foot of snow in the past week and wind chill at -37 below with regular temps -15 below zero. My bird feeders have been continually wiped out. You can tell I’m a true bird lover, bundling up to face sub-zero winds to take more food to my feathered friends! 🙂
I thank you very much for your commendable deed Amy! 🙂
