Brrrr…Again!
Another cold wave has hit our area, this morning the temperature to 27 degrees. Before this we had a couple of balmy mid 70s wonderful days but suddenly turned to four dark rainy days!
Everything is frozen outside I’m afraid to touch the plants for they might break. It wouldn’t surprise me weather like this one if I was in New Jersey in the middle of winter, here in Georgia is a little different because is south-east just above Florida where temperatures are warmed by the tropical winds.
My blogging is turning out to be more writing about weather that writing about birds. I will try to refrain from mentioning the weather, although has a lot to do with birds. Very few birds are coming to my backyard now, and the conditions mentioned above don’t help for any photographs.
I will continue posting from my various archives.

Looks like you are having some very unusual weather down there these days.. I figured even this time of the year you guys should be in the mid 40’s. Hoping the weather changes for you so you can add more photos to your collection.
I’m taking things day by day with this weather. I hope for better weather too! Thank you MD! 🙂
Hope your Southeastern friends enjoy warmer temperatures. Beautiful portraits!.
Of course, the lower south you go the warmer it gets. Thank you for your comment Carmen! 🙂
Oh no, not you too! We have been in the single digits and we’re not too enamored of it either. Luckily the birds have insulation!
The only problem is that who wants to be outside taking pictures when the windchill makes it even colder! 🙂
Lucky you have a choice. I have to walk to the train in the freezing cold. However the afternoons on the lakefront have been sunny and fairly pleasant; just not a lot of birds to photograph!
