I Miss the Birds
In our area of Georgia we have turned from very cold weather to very rainy weather. It’s been several days of rain dropping on us! Last night I woke up because the noise of heavy rain, It was raining buckets, that’s how hard was raining.
I hardly see any birds out there in my backyard yet I see their feeders empty every morning. It gets dark early now so there’s no point of looking outside for any birds.
I miss seeing the birds, there’s a void in my daily routine by not having birds to photograph. There’s nothing I can do about that!
I’ve been feeling a little under the weather lately, especially after all the holidays meals we’ve been having. I got indigestion and a bit of reflux. I’m not 100% well. That ought to teach me not to eat so much!
Tyler is happy with his new Android tablet, now he has his Apple computer and a tablet! He’s only three years old but he handles the computer like an adult. Lucy got a new laptop and she’s happy too! What am I getting? I’m still trying to decide what new camera I want! 🙂

I miss them as well! The world is always a better place when the birds are around! You took some really beautiful shots of these birds thought. Very colorful and rich!

Thank you very much for your kindness Shelley! 🙂
The European Starling is so colorful! I know…we just have a cardinal couple, some sparrows, and a mockingbird these days. But the gang will be back in a few months! We had a little hummingbird who stayed until October 22!
I still get some birds in my backyard but the weather conditions are not helping to get good shots of them. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
I’m not seeing many birds on my feeders at the moment HJ. Too many berries and insects still around I think. I’m sorry, but I am missing a lot of your posts at the moment due to lack of time at the computer.
Don’t worry about that Dave, you can always find them there later. I appreciate your comments! 🙂
Wonderful birds, i shall enjoy following your blog.
Thank you very much Susan! 🙂
