Excellent portraits on such colourful faces!. I was very pleased to see the Red-crested Cardinal, a bird native to Argentina known there as the Red-capped White Cardinal. Interesting to note, it is not a true cardinal (Cardinalidae) but it belongs to the Thraupidae family of tanagers. This is a striking bird to observe in urban parks and conservation land. Very nice to see it here, too, HJ. Splendid tricolour!.
Funny thing about this particular bird, I shot the picture in my backyard! Reported it to Audubon Society. I had photographed this species previously in South America. Thanks for sharing Carmen! 🙂
As usual, just great!
Thanks Victor! 🙂
Great portraits HJ!
Thanks a lot MD! 🙂
