Ranking High on Top 10 List
There’s a species of birds ranking high on the list of the top ten favorite birds and with many bird-loving fans. These birds are the Eastern Bluebirds. I’m sure that you’ve heard of them!
This year I’ve hardly seen them in my backyard for whatever reasons they haven’t showed up. I remember on previous years when I had them visit daily and also nesting locally. I guess they moved to other locations where I imagine they might be getting more appropriated food and shelter.
I welcome all birds in my backyard and try to accommodate them with food and some shelter but I can not control their instincts or habits.
Next, I bring you some photos of these beautiful birds.

These are some amazing photos !
Thanks a lot! 🙂
How bright and beautiful!. Adorable posing in their magnificent colours. Hope they return soon to your home!.
Thank you Carmen, I hope so too! 🙂
My, they’re so beautiful!! Gorgeous captures, so adorable creatures.
Love, Dina
I’m glad that you like them, thanks Dina! 🙂
We saw fewer bluebirds this year as well. Normally they love our garden and often hung out around it, but not this year. I even invested a large sum of money in mealworms and kept putting them in different areas of our yard with no success. 😦 I did get a few photos of them in my bird bath. They are so pretty and bring me a lot of joy when I see them in my yard or when out walking my dogs. Lovely photos, H.J.!
So you did notice the absence too! I bought a cedar bird house designed for bluebirds and all I got was a nest of wasps!
Thanks Amy for sharing your experiences! 🙂
How beautiful is the Eastern Blue bird, O my i’m in love! :D…. You take just perfect pictures and do them justice!
You’re so kind, I’m far from taking any perfect pictures, I just show the bird as they are. Thank you PS! 🙂
When you have the bird houses, don’t different birds come fight for space there? And I read online that bluebirds like softened soaked raisins? What did you give them?
In actuality I have only two houses left from the many I had through the years, they get destroyed by weather inclemency.
I fill the feeders with all birds mixture seeds. I think that’s why I get a variety of species. All birds are welcome! 🙂
haha… that’s great to know! 🙂
