The bird with long legs, big feet, weird white eyes, intense glance, angry looking appearance is called Common Grackle.

In reality is only a clumsy, oddly built noisy bird.

Known to land and perch itself to any feeder whether small or large and create a complete mess because they move around too much, actually I’m saying “they” due to the fact that this bird rarely flies around alone. When ever you see one grackle you will see other near by, never alone.

To tell you the truth I’ve become accustomed to them and they amuse me. I also love to observe their social behavior round other species of birds as well as with their own.

One thing I’ve noticed is, when it comes to parenthood they are in total care of the fledglings.

I’m posting some shots of them while they visit my backyard.
