Sopping Wet
Sometimes, summer showers, rains or storms are a bit too many and that definitely tick me off! Every time I make plans for any outdoor activity, regardless of what this might be furthermore , having taken precautions of reading the weather forecast which ironically calls for a sunny day (???) Then later some clouds come in and unload all their water on us therefore ruining my plans.
I imagine that birds must be a piece of the pie in this deal too! Any time it rains, as always, most of the seeds in the feeders either wash away or get soaked. It’s more of a hassle for me and a expense!
I’ve noticed that some birds are more prepared than others. I mean that their feathers are less permeable to water and avoid getting wet, while other birds simply get sopping wet!

It is odd how some birds, even of the same species, get affected differently by rain.
Exactly my point! Thank you for your comment Tom! 🙂
A proper thought-provoking post HJ, I wonder if bird feathers are waterproof or water resistant even? Fantastic shots too! 🙂 x
Thanks Becky! Read my post tomorrow and you’ll learn a bit more about feathers etc. 🙂
