Colorful Surprise
I was so surprised and equally happy when I saw a bird that I haven’t seen for two past years! This bird is an Indigo Bunting, now visiting my backyard again, it happened last Friday. His visit was short but long enough to give me the opportunity to shoot some photos. These birds are so beautiful and precious are candy for the eyes! Their plumage reflects light in a brilliant color such it is the indigo blue. It was a nice treat for me for sure!
One thing I’m starting to do lately is shooting pictures early in the morning when the sun is still behind the trees. This kind of lighting gives a wonderful contrasty effect that I’m starting to like.
I’m posting some of the pictures I shot. I just hope that you like them.

Beautiful bird! How fortunate to have it visit your backyard! Soft early morning or late afternoon light is the way to go.

such a beautiful shade of blue.. and it looks like the dove is saying “take my photograph too please.”
It’s indigo blue! Believe me, all the dove wants is the food! Thanks! 🙂
