Great Blue Heron
Another favorite of mine is the Great Blue Heron. A slender bird with a tranquil attitude and elegant figure.
I enjoy taking pictures of this bird because I can see his stylized movements through the lens of the camera in close up. If you ever get the opportunity to find one of these birds, take your time and enjoy observing its mannerisms and even better if you can use your camera!

Great shots HJ. I love Herons, partly because they are big and slow, and I get a chance to catch them in the viewfinder.
