Family and Avians

At this time, the avian population in my backyard has dropped considerably. The Mourning Doves are practically taking over the feeders and occasionally a C.Chickadee or N. Cardinal stop by for a few minutes at the feeders and then leave. This morning I saw two N. Mockingbirds in the front lawn of my house and that’s about it.

Once in a while I hear Canada Geese flying by or the shadow casted by a Cooper’s Hawk which leads me to see him flying high and then perching on top of tall pines in the distance.

Lately, I’ve been posting about my outdoor trips I made in company of my wife Lucy and my grandson Tyler. We did have a great time and served as good exercise for Tyler as well as for us. Tyler is 2 years 4 months old and is growing very fast and we are getting older! I’m totally convinced that any outdoors activities are beneficial to our body.

I’m posting some pictures from a couple of our outdoor activities.
