Migration Continues

My backyard is getting less and less visitors, by the way, my dear Ruby-throated Hummingbirds have departed to migration. I haven’t seen them for a week and their nectar juice is intact, you won’t believe me but I miss them.

Now that the early morning hours have turned colder, the visits are limited to Mourning Doves and Northern Cardinals.

Some species I see that stop by but move on after a short time, birds such as:

  • Eastern Phoebe
  • Northern Mockingbird
  • Carolina Chickadee
  • Song Sparrow
  • Crow

I have heard owls at night but I could not locate them.

My visit to other areas my give me some chance to see other birds. I’m posting some today.
