Choosing a Path

It’s very simple in this case, I write the post based on what’s going on in my backyard or I don’t write at all.

What I have about birds I can photograph now I have covered many times, I don’t mind because I love birds but other people I imagine, expects me to write about and show pictures of all kinds of birds. Well, I did that for a long while but I also explained that I’m not traveling as I used to do before. I have more obligations and priorities. WE have our grandson Tyler to take to school, and all his events, music lessons, soccer, swimming and such.

For now we are limited to short trips only and they have to be with facilities etc. You can’t take a 2 year old kid to the swamps or marshes.

I figure that one more year he’ll be able to understand more about nature and get more entertained looking at birds or other animals. Very soon the fall weather will set in and we can easily take short trips and maybe longer ones without the crowds and bothersome heat and insects.

So, I’ll continue to post about what I can shoot in my backyard!

Thank you for understanding! 🙂

  1. I love your backyard too! And kudos, you are a true avian-lover, always making sure they have seed and water! Tyler is so lucky to have you to teach him about wildlife and nature. I am still amazed when Benjamin comes to our home and he immediately wants to look at my birds both inside and outside from the balcony, pointing to each one and trying to say ‘bird’ and grinning. Inside, I have an audubon stuffed osprey up in a palm tree, it is his favorite. I just ordered him his own and can’t wait to give it to him to take home, lol!!

    • I do love all avians, I don’t mind feeding them or spending some money buying their seeds, they are beautiful creatures that have been around way much longer than us humans in this world, I want to keep them fine for the future generations.
      Thanks for sharing Donna! 🙂
