This and That
Today’s the third day in a row that is very cloudy and dark, it rains randomly and for a short time. The humidity level is high, day and night, it’s still hot and sticky.
Between sun, rain and wind my patio umbrella got ripped apart. There are too many Mourning Doves coming to feed now, they finish all the seeds in just minutes and I’m refilling them and the doves are always there rain or shine.
The Ruby-throated hummingbirds are still there and I see them all day long. I wish they stay for next season.

I hope the morning doves leave some feed for the hummingbirds
I don’t worry about that, hummingbirds drink their food (nectar) from their specially designed hummingbird feeders.
I had a visit today from a dove too. I love their understated elegance.
Thanks for you sharing Tom! 🙂
You need to leave a tip jar out for the dove to help with the cost of seed! They’ll oblige, I’m sure! 🙂 (giggle)
If I leave a tip jar out for the doves… you know well what they will fill it with! 🙂
