We Got Rain!

It really happened as I figured it! Yesterday we got lots of rain with only short periods of sunshine. It gave us a tremendous break from the crushing heat and a good soak to the plants and grounds. This morning is semi dark and gray but the green of the plants is a bright green again. Yeah!

I feel sorry for the States that are being affected by the hurricane Isaac, I just wish they get not damage or lives lost.

Glad you got rain too! We had rain all day Sunday, same thing, soaking, constant, not stormy, just wet. I am very fond of the Mockingbird photo, too. It looks almost reverent.
