Walk Around the House
When I walk around my house I usually encounter other kinds of animal species, some I photograph some others are not so memorable. Not all the time I walk with my camera but if I see anything worth shooting I go back in and get the camera.
I do my rounds looking for any kind of damage to the house due to rain, wind etc. Or find foreign objects such as bottles, papers, cups, garbage that cretins throw when they walk or drive by. I also look for insects nests such as wasps, bees, spiders, ants etc.
What I find usually doesn’t amount to much really. But if I see butterflies I like to get some shots.

A good set of pictures. I enjoyed your walk.
Thank you Tom! I have to confess that I envy your home flower garden. Your plants and flowers are exquisite! 🙂
Nice shots! I love the Brown-Headed Cowbird even if she is a gangster, the setting is perfect.
Thank you dear Lisa, I’m glad that you liked it! 🙂
Have never seen one of those long-tailed skippers. Common there?
It was my first time I saw one. I’ve no idea if they are common here.
That tiger swallowtail shot is fantastic, nice detail and composition HJ!
Thanks Donna! 🙂
Lovely post. Thank you.
Thank you very much Micheline! 🙂
