For Your Eyes Only

I shoot many photographs daily, I post some according to the need for a post, but it doesn’t mean that all the extra photos are going to be discarded. On a regular day of shooting I easily surpass the 200 photos count, if I have excellent light conditions and plenty of subjects I can shoot double that amount.

Then I can do like today’s post, pick some photos from previous sessions and put together a short gallery.

    • Not really! I know a lot of photographers that shoot over 400 daily. A little story for you: When I was in high school I loved photography and read National Geographic Magazine because it had so many great photos. There, I read about a photo commission asked of this known good photographer the subject was an exotic country in Asia, they needed at least 6 pictures for the main essay. When the photographer returned he brought back 10,000 slides! Imagine that amount for only 6 photos! 🙂

      • That’s amazing. As I am not a photographer per se, I find it incredible how dedicated you guys are – 10,000? Gobsmacking!

    • I love photography and I don’t mind much taking a lot of pictures, it keeps my mind busy and entertained. Thanks Tom for sharing!

  1. Wow, 200 a day!!! You are a busy guy. Love reading your bird blogs and the photos that accompany it! Have a super day Av.

    • Put it this way if you have let’s say 20 different birds in your backyard and you take 10 pictures of each, right there you have 200 photos! It might sound like a lot but is not. Thank you D. for your comment! 🙂
