We Need Some Rain

Days go by and we haven’t had any rain for over a week. My plants and grass need water badly. I hope we get some rain soon because otherwise it will be costly for us. If we use tap water for spraying the lawn and all our plants, it’d cost us a fortune, the water bills are bad as they are now;  In the other hand if the plants are not watered they most likely would die! We have Bermuda  grass all around our house which is treated on a monthly basis for weeds, insects, etc. That cost too! All that would be going to waste without water. My last alternative is googling the internet for: Learning how to do the Rain Dance!

LAST MINUTE NEWS: It rained all night!!! 🙂

  1. We just went on water restrictions. Only water once per week and only between 6:00AM and Noon. Our lawn has been destroyed. But such is the way of life in west Texas. Nice pics.

    • Thanks Bob! I know about drought here in Georgia a couple of years after I moved to my new house we had a terribly dry spell and all plants and grass were lost!

  2. I know what you mean, I live in Devon England, and we’ve officially entered a drought scenario. Fingers crossed the heavens open soon! ♥

    • I hope that you get that so needed rain soon, we had rain last night and today! Would you rather be called Becka or Becky, I have a daughter named Rebecca we all call her Becky. Could I call you Becka? Let me know.:)

      • Ah glad to hear it, send some rain clouds over this way when you’ve had enough 🙂 and everyone calls me Becky, Bex for short lol. 😀 ♥

  3. We need the rain here too, and it looks like were going to get 1 to 2 inches of it this weekend. As much as we need it, it needs to happen during the work week, not my potential photography hikes! 😛

  4. You can have some of our rain. This is the rainiest April I can remember in 18 years here. The flowers are blooming and the mountains are green. All that means, though, is that we could have a really bad fire season in the fall. Our last bad fire season was October 2007.
