Love is in the Air!
Romance is in the air! My backyard is being visited by many birds interested in courtship and beyond!
Seeing males trying to impress the females with a few tricks of their own, then the female plays hard to get, which is kind of funny because we know what’s going to happen at the end. 😉
I’m not a voyeur, just a bird watcher, I do not want photos of any more than the courtship.
I can predict that I will have nests of the following birds in my backyard:
- Northern Cardinals
- Field Sparrows
- Eastern Towhees
- Northern Mockingbirds
- Carolina Chickadees
- Song Sparrows
- Chipping Sparrows
- House Finches
- Mourning Doves
These are birds that will nest locally and I will have to feed daily, so far! I know that there will be more later.
That’s my job! 🙂
