Some More Photos
Same as I did yesterday I have some more photos from my archives that I’m posting. This is the dry spell for any bird photographer, the weather is nut entirely suitable for birds to be flying around. But in a few more days, once the spring starts, most birds will be wearing their best plumage, looking for mates. And us, the photographers will be out there to do our best to capture the best scenes.

If you’re in a dry spell, you should move to San Diego. It’s never a dry spell here. We have the most diverse birding population of any County in the United States, with something like 505 species (out of 750 or so in the United States) having been seen in the County.
I went out yesterday to see the snow in the mountains and came home with pictures of an acorn woodpecker, a dark-eyed junco, a double-breasted cormorant, some Canada geese, and lots of American coots. And I wasn’t even looking for birds yesterday!
It’s ok, is just a bit of boredom when the weather doesn’t cooperate. San Diego and all California is gorgeous. If you buy my house I’d move tomorrow! 🙂
Thank you for your comment, I moved from NJ to GA to stay away from the cold.
Oh I wish I could take photos like this! These are beautiful.
Thank you Julie, you’re very kind! 🙂
